So here is the most interesting conversation I've had all day. . .Sam, whose curiosity is LIMITLESS, just asked me, out of the CLEAR, BLUE, SKY, "Mama, can I go to Tokyo?" (I think he saw something about Tokyo on Little Einsteins the other day).
"Sure buddy. Why do you want to go to Tokyo?"
"Because it's SO COOL. They have restaurants and wapawtments (*read: apartments) that are weally, weally, weally BIG! But the people day-er are weally, weally, weally little! Why do dey need BIG wapawtments when dey are so little, Mama?"
Before I could answer him, he says, "I KNOW!!!! It's because day-er Mommies and Daddies buy dem lots and lots of TOYS!!!!" *Brief pause for him to process his newfound information* "Mama, I weally fink we need to move to Tokyo. . .den you and Daddy can buy me toys to fill our BIG WAPAWTMENT!" Case Closed. . .The End. . .He walks away, and I am left to ponder his logic, once again!
